Tommie Lee, a hopeful rap artist and a star of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop," has had one too many run-ins with the law with the many legal issues she has had in the past.

However, despite her colorful past, there are only a few things that give her an undeniable feeling of pride. One such thing is her children, her daughters, Samaria and Havalli. The reality star told VH1 that she had her first daughter while she was in prison at the age of 17.

Despite that unseemly beginning, the mom of two does her best to give her daughters all her love and attention. As one of the most controversial figures in the VH1 franchise, it becomes increasingly difficult for the mother to show her maternal side.

Lee sometimes uses social media as a medium to show off her beautiful daughters. In a 2017 Instagram post, Lee and her oldest, Samaria, proved that they were, indeed, "twins," showing off their striking resemblance.

In 2016, on Mother's Day, Lee shared a rare insight into her mom life as she posted a compilation of videos and pictures of herself with her girls with a caption that read:

"That one good thing I did in my life ... ❤️"

Although the reality star claims that she loves her kids with every fiber of her being, her integrity on that claim was tested when she was arrested in 2018, allegedly for child cruelty, shoving her daughter's head into a locker with a myriad of other assault accusations.

Barely a day after she was released on a $27,000 bond, she was back in jail, allegedly apprehended for aggravated stalking and obstruction of justice.

Lee and her small brood made it to the headlines again recently in May, when her 16-year-old daughter, Samaria, announced that she was pregnant. The teenager took to Instagram to share her good news with her fans.

The post was a video of Samaria debuting her already large baby bump with mixed reactions from her followers, many of whom thought she was too young while others congratulated her.

The "Love & Hip Hop" star is going to become a grandmother at 36, but she did not openly comment about her daughter's pregnancy or the backlash the teenager was receiving. Lee seems to be confident in how best to raise her daughters in her own special way.
