Jaden and Willow Smith were reportedly always protected and kept a priority, while their parents, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, struggled to keep their marriage afloat.

Celebrity couple Will and Jada Pinkett Smith recently made headlines after the host's cheating allegations surfaced the internet.
In her Facebook Watch show, "Red Table Talk," the couple sat down and talked about what happened in their marriage, including their temporary split.

KEEPING THE KIDS SAFE
According to a source, the pair's children, Jaden and Willow were protected from their problems. The insider said:
"The kids have always been a uniting factor for them, and it was never chaotic in the house. They shielded a lot of what they were going through from their kids."

The source added that the couple's problem began like any regular marriage, and despite the cameras always facing them, they tried to keep their issues private.
WILL AND JADA'S LOVE STORY
Will and Jada met on the set of the 1994 show, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," and dated the year after. In 1997, the two became engaged, and the following year, welcomed their first son.

Years later, Jada had an interview that led people to assume they were in an open marriage. "I'm here as his partner, but he is his own man," she said.
The singer claimed that Will gave his blessing for the affair he had with Jada, which the actor later denied through a representative.
Although they were quiet about their marriage, the Hollywood couple quietly separated in 2016, and Jada had an affair with August Alsina.

THE EXTRAMARITAL AFFAIR
Alsina revealed that he had been in a relationship with Jada for years. The two met after her son, Jaden, introduced Alsina to their family, who tried to help him with his health.

The singer claimed that Will gave his blessing for the affair he had with Jada, which the actor later denied through a representative.
Both Will and Jada cleared the air in her show, "Red Table Talk," and claimed they were separated during the host's "entanglement" with Alsina.
Jada also said that she was broken during those moments and needed healing, which she found throughout the process.
