Princess Beatrice and her fiance, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have reportedly tied the knot in a quiet and secret wedding ceremony at Windsor chapel in the presence of friends and family.
The couple who were meant to have gotten married on May 29, 2020, had to put things on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic that led to a global lockdown.

The pair tied the knot at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge Windsor and kept to strict social distancing guidelines as directed by the government. A statement from the palace according to Hello Magazine said:
“The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11 am on Friday, July 17.”

Those in attendance included Queen Elizabeth, Prince Andrew, the Duke of Edinburgh, and close family, among others. However, the Queen had to leave the event early to attend the knighthood ceremony of Captain Tom Moore.
The couple had planned to wed at Saint James Palace in London with their wedding reception to be held at the Queen’s garden in Buckingham Palace, but things did not go as planned due to the lockdown.

While things did not go as planned, it is exciting to know the couple got married while being surrounded by the love and blessings of the family they adore.
