Here's How Steph Curry Celebrated His Eldest Daughter Riley's 8th Birthday

Stephen Curry is a proud father as he takes to social media with a short tribute dedicated to his oldest daughter, Riley, in the event of her eighth birthday celebration.

Stephen Curry's daughter, Riley, just turned eight, and her father is just about as excited as she probably is. The famous basketball athlete took to his Instagram page to wish his daughter a happy birthday. Curry captioned a shot of Riley caught by the camera in mid-jump saying,

"Fly high into your 8th trip around the Sun Riley Rooster. Love you, Birthday Girl."

In the comments section, fans joined the proud father in wishing his gorgeous daughter a wonderful birthday. They all thought his tribute to Riley was a very inspiring one. One fan wrote,

"SO INSPIRATIONAL CURRY!"

The father-daughter relationship between Curry and Riley is a desirable one, and there are tons of pictures documenting it. It all started in 2015 when a nearly 3-year-old Riley stole the show at a playoff press conference her dad was speaking at.

The gorgeous toddler had no reservation about interacting with her dad while he stood before his fans and the press. She reportedly sat unbothered on top of the podium while Curry addressed the public after the Warriors' championship win.

He was dressed in customized cleats honoring the late Breonna Taylor.

Riley is Curry's first daughter with his wife of nine years, Ayesha. The pair got married on July 30, 2011, and they welcomed Riley the next year.

Curry and his wife, a former actress, have been keeping busy together amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Ayesha took to Instagram on Friday to share a couple of photos from their morning outing. She captioned the shots,

"Tried an early morning bike date… I'm sold. I love being on this adventure with you @stephencurry30."

Curry has also kept up with the social events happening in states across the country and has been using his platform as a respected athlete to make critical social statements against social injustice.

This month, he was dressed in customized cleats honoring the late Breonna Taylor, who died after she was shot in her house by local police who were there for a search.

While the whole of the US battles racism against minorities, Curry has revealed that even affluent African-Americans are subject to subtle racism.

He was very particular about how people often express shock when they witness a black person expressing himself/herself eloquently during a conversation.
