Hollywood Life: This Is How Kandi Burruss Would Feel If NeNe Leakes Quits RHOA

It is still unsure if NeNe Leakes will be back for Season 13 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," but Kandi Burruss certainly hopes she returns.

It is no secret that Kandi Burruss and NeNe Leakes have had their fair share of disagreements and arguments on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

However, in an interview with Hollywood Life, Burruss revealed that she "would love for her to be back" on the show.

BURRUSS' INTERVIEW

The reality star acknowledged that Leakes is a big part of the series and helped launch "RHOA" in 2012. She added:

"I feel like it would suck if she decided not to come back. I feel like why wouldn't she come back, but I feel like ultimately that is up to her."

Speculations about Leakes' exit from the show came after she released her frustrations last season and had several fights with the cast.

WALKING OUT OF THE REUNION

During their virtual reunion in May, Leakes walked out and said she would not join the third part of their meeting.

Although her birthday fell during the quarantine period amid the coronavirus, Burruss was able to celebrate with her close friends and family.

According to Burruss, her co-star's reason for leaving was because the other girls were ganging up on her. However, the real reason Burruss believes she left was because Yovanna Momplasir revealed she was coming to the show.

GREETING BURRUSS

Despite their feud, Leakes still paid tribute to Burruss on her 44th birthday with an Instagram post of their candid photo. She wrote:

"I will NOT let the fake beef YOU made up stop me from wishing you a Happy Birthday & posting my favorite pic of us Kandi."

The photo posted showed the singer rolling her eyes as Leakes made a face like she was about to talk mid-way.

BURRUSS' BIRTHDAY

Many others paid tribute to the reality star during her special day including her husband, Todd Tucker, and his daughter, Kaela. She wrote to her step-mom:

"Happy Birthday to a real one! Wish I was in ATL to celebrate with you. Hope you enjoy your day @kandi."

Although her birthday fell during the quarantine period amid the coronavirus, Burruss was able to celebrate with her close friends and family.

Sadly, Kaela was not able to celebrate with Burruss for reasons left unsaid. The celebrity shares two kids with her husband, a son, Ace, and a daughter, Blaze, who they had via surrogate. She's also mom to 17-year-old Riley, from a previous relationship.
