Christina Anstead's Ex-husband Tarek El Moussa Proposes to Heather Rae Young — Inside Their Engagement

Christina Anstead's former husband of seven years has found love again, and this time he is ready to walk down the aisle with her. Barely one year after they began dating, the on-screen star engaged his actress lover, Heather Rae Young.

The million-dollar question was popped on the shores of Descanso beach with an eight-carat emerald cut diamond ring. The pair shared the news of their engagement by posting the same images on their Instagram pages.

They twinned in matching colored outfits. Young looked excited as she tilted her neck up, and El Moussa had his face lit in a smile while tenderly holding his beau's hand. The actress wrote that she is ready to have her surname changed, while her man captioned his post,

Fans of the HGTV network star commended his recent move and wished the couple a good life as they embark on their new journey.

People reported that El Moussa made a move during their boat trip to Catalina Island, California, as they marked their one year dating anniversary. This came as a shock to Young, who felt that their island boat cruise was to celebrate their relationship milestone.

While the former pair have found new loves, they still maintain a cordial relationship in their home front and career-wise.

Other details of the proposal involved a bouquet of the actress's favorite flowers. The "Flip or Flop" star then visited his soon to be in-laws at their residence in Running Springs, C.A, to ask for their blessings.

Though the proposal came as a surprise to Young, she has never doubted her man's love, and the pair have remained committed to each other since the inception of their affair.

Shortly after their relationship became public, El Moussa, who shares two kids, Taylor and Brayden with his ex, Christina, introduced Young to his kids. Ever since, the actress has shared quality bonding time with them, and even referred to herself as a "bonus mom."

Loving her fiance's kids was an effortless action, she explained that she reached out to Christina to make sure the parenting arrangement was not an issue.
