Nicole Ari Parker recently shared a glimpse of what her dates with husband, Boris Kodjoe look like amid the coronavirus pandemic: “This is the new normal.”

Many have adapted to the situation and created a “new normal” including Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe, who recently gave a preview of what date night looks like.

DATING IN THE NEW NORMAL

The actress shared a short clip of her date with Kodjoe, as they walked on the same treadmill. With her husband behind her, the two were synchronized in walking and making dance movements. She wrote:

“Mind yr business kids.. This is the new normal.. #DateNight is a workout & #InTheGarage is the vacation.”

The video ended with the couple’s son gesturing like he did not know what was going on, while their daughter, Sophie, was behind the camera.

THEIR LOVE STORY

Kodjoe and Parker first met on the set of “Soul Food” where they played lovers turned real-life romantic partners.

The couple recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary at home amid the pandemic.

According to the actress, Kodjoe already attracted her during the first rehearsal and later found him easy to talk to.

After initially planning to have a wedding ceremony in Los Angeles, the pair later tied the knot in Germany. Parker shared:

“I always wanted a fairy-tale wedding, and where he’s from, it’s like a storybook. I had a horse and carriage. My dad gave me away. We got married in a 900-year-old church.”

CELEBRATING 15 YEARS

The couple recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary at home amid the pandemic. However, Kodjoe still made his wife feel special with an Instagram post of a beach celebration.

Parker also posted a video of the same event with a Griot playing the “kora,” an African lute, while singing folklore.

“Woke me up at 7 am for a walk on the Beach,” the mom-of-two shared in the caption alongside the video of her surprise.
