Inside Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker's 15th Anniversary – Romantic Beach Date and Live Music

One of Hollywood's hottest couples, Boris Kodjoe and his wife, Nicole Ari Parker, celebrate 15 years of marital bliss, by the beach.

Boris took to Instagram to wish his longtime actress wife a happy anniversary. He shared a video clip that captures his best moments during their celebration at the beach in the presence of a Griot.

He captions the post "15 Deep today," followed by the one and five block emojis and a few heart emojis and then the simple celebratory words before professing his love for his wife.

Fifteen years and two kids later, Boris keeps his marriage by keeping the romance brewing.

His fellow actors and some fans wasted no time in taking to the comment section to wish the "Station 19" star a happy wedding anniversary.

Some of them include Taye Diggs, Michael Ealy, and Lisa Vidal. Nicole shared her anniversary tribute by praising her beau's ability to surprise her. She wrote:

"Boris Woke me up at 7 am for a walk on the Beach...Had No Idea. I'm so hard to surprise... #Happy15Babe Love you soon."

She then thanked everyone that assisted her husband in putting the beautiful surprise together, including folklorist, traditional harpist, and storyteller Baba who also posted the video on his Instagram.

In the accompanying video, the Griot is seen playing the African lute, "kora" while he sang folklore as she stood by the Beach. Nicole seemed pleasantly surprised as she thanked her husband.

The love birds who, according to Essence, met on the hit series "Soul Food" acting as lovers decided to take their chemistry off-set.

Although their relationship kicked off with a comfortable start, they had to date long distance after Boris was written off the show.

In an interview with NY Post, the actor admitted that they were both uncertain about dating at first because they were worried they would fall into the cliché of actors falling in love on set, but with the help of the whole crew, they finally agreed to try out a romantic relationship.

Fifteen years and two kids later, Boris keeps his marriage by keeping the romance brewing as reported by Essence. Most recently, while on T.I's popular podcast, "expeditiously."
