Daily Mail reports that the couple began dating last year. In January, there were photographed holding hands and sharing kisses while out shopping in New York City. The 38-year-old actor and his newest love interest were reportedly looking at apartments in the city earlier that day.

Fans made the connection of a brewing romance between the "Grey’s Anatomy" star and the "White Boy Rick" actress in January 2019 at the Sundance Film Festival. But it wasn't until May 2019 that they made their red carpet debut as a couple.

Williams has previously been romantically linked to SportsNet New York anchor Taylor Rocks. Before that, he dated his fellow actress, Minka Kelly. The relationship was confirmed barely three months after he had separated from his wife, Aryn Drake-Lee but the pair denied dating while he was still married.

Williams and Drake-Lee, who is a real estate broker tied the knot in September 2012 after dating for five years. However, their divorce which was finalized in 2017 has been anything but amicable due to custody disputes over their two children, six-year-old Sadie and four-year-old Maceo.

Cheat Sheet shares that after his divorce, Williams addressed rumors about his infidelity being the cause of the split. In his statement, he expressed shock at the fact that people can reach such a conclusion after he was with his ex for about 13 years.

Last year, Drake-Lee eventually spoke up about her divorce from the TV actor and shared the radical effect of the transition on her life. However, she tried to dispel some of the rumors about the reason for the separation.
