According to People, Teddi used a clip of her and Dove listening to Taylor Swift’s 2020 song, “Invisible String” to praise the tot’s strength. The praise came in the post’s caption, which read:
“It’s crazy how resilient kids are. Dove is going into Day 4 post neurosurgery with both eyes open. The swelling went down, she passed all her markers...”
Amid the ongoing challenge, several of Teddi’s fellow “housewives” have reached out to her and her husband, Edwin Edwin Arroyave, to show that they have the pair’s back.
The reality TV star added that she was “so grateful for so many things and feeling really blessed.” Teddi concluded the caption by expressing her love for the 5-month-old and claiming that Dove would “live whatever life” she dreams of.
Just before she shared that sweet post, Teddi had disclosed that her daughter was diagnosed with lambdoid craniosynostosis after a CT scan was carried out on the toddler.
Daily Mail subsequently reported that she used a quote that came from a fan whose child also suffered from the same rare skull condition, to encourage mothers all over the world. The uplifting quote, which came with the caption, “thank you to the fellow cranio mama for sending this to me today,” read:
“Sometimes life is about your dreams, hopes, and visions for the future. But there are some days where life is just about putting one foot in front of the others. And that's okay.”
Bravo noted that after the success of her baby girl’s surgery, Teddi showed her appreciation to her fans and loved ones for their prayers.
The 39-year-old also thanked the surgeons, Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Urata, and all the “loving nurses” that had a hand in her daughter’s surgery and aftercare, for their love and dedication.
