The look, which features her cute short hair and a nose piercing is both simple and classy and has received praise from many fans and followers. The single cover art also shows vibrant colors against her brown skin.

Cori graduated from Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts in Los Angeles, having bagged for herself a high school diploma.

The short hair has continuously been her style for a while, given her past personal experiences. Cori or Choc, as she is popularly known, only took to the main stage on her first musical career performance over a year ago.

HNHH reported about a year ago that Snoop Dogg took to his official Instagram page through a video to celebrate his daughter’s achievement. In the clip, Cori led other vocalists in a piece performance before a Los Angeles crowd.

Although that was her first public performance, Cori had been on the music scene since August 2018 when she released her first music video, according to the site.

Essence recalled that Choc’s musical career got off to a start less than 5 years ago and since then, she has delivered a couple of beautiful singles among which are: "Same," which was her debut single, "Love Me for Me," "New Phone," "Who Dis?" and "Sittin in My Room," which was an ode to her cousin Brandy’s hit song.

She was also featured as a special guest at the 4th annual "RnB Rewind Festival" which was held last year in January. The RnB sensation who has musical genius running in her family has done well considering the rough times she has experienced in recent years.

According to Black Doctor, the veteran rapper’s daughter was diagnosed with lupus when she was only 11 years old. The disease is known to be the leading cause of stroke, heart disease, and kidney disease in women.

As grim as the events surrounding Cori’s diagnosis seemed, it played a vital role in saving the marriage of her parents Snoop Dogg and Shante. Black Doctor reported him saying,

“That’s what it boiled down to. Cori’s lupus showed us we need to be together forever.”

His wife, Shante, also added, “Without [Snoop], I don’t know what I’d have done.” She further claimed that they wouldn’t have gotten through Cori’s lupus diagnosis if they had followed through with their intended divorce.

In another Essence article, it was noted that Cori graduated from Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts in Los Angeles, having bagged for herself a high school diploma.
