The short hair has continuously been her style for a while, given her past personal experiences. Cori or Choc, as she is popularly known, only took to the main stage on her first musical career performance over a year ago.

HNHH reported about a year ago that Snoop Dogg took to his official Instagram page through a video to celebrate his daughter’s achievement. In the clip, Cori led other vocalists in a piece performance before a Los Angeles crowd.

Although that was her first public performance, Cori had been on the music scene since August 2018 when she released her first music video, according to the site.

She was also featured as a special guest at the 4th annual "RnB Rewind Festival" which was held last year in January. The RnB sensation who has musical genius running in her family has done well considering the rough times she has experienced in recent years.

According to Black Doctor, the veteran rapper’s daughter was diagnosed with lupus when she was only 11 years old. The disease is known to be the leading cause of stroke, heart disease, and kidney disease in women.

As grim as the events surrounding Cori’s diagnosis seemed, it played a vital role in saving the marriage of her parents Snoop Dogg and Shante. Black Doctor reported him saying,

“That’s what it boiled down to. Cori’s lupus showed us we need to be together forever.”
