Keisha Epps recently shared a photo of her son, Amir on Instagram as they “cautiously” went surfing amid the pandemic.

The picture showed the young boy candidly reaching for his bag by the beach and looking a lot like his father, Omar Epps.

The “Love & Basketball” star welcomed his son with Keisha on Christmas Day in 2007, joining their daughters K’Mari Mae and Aiyanna Yasmine who Omar had from a previous relationship. The actor shared:

“There is something with girls [...] where there’s this innate connection of the father to have with them. [...] With my son, with boys in general, they just have so much energy.”

Omar grew up without a father and penned his experience in his book, “From Fatherless to Fatherhood.” At a young age, the “Fatal Affair” actor’s father left him and his mother.

Despite growing up with only a mom, Omar worked to have a good life in the entertainment industry until meeting Keisha in 2004 and tying the knot two years after.

Keisha celebrated the 20th anniversary of “Love & Basketball” with a tribute to her husband.

As seen on social media, Omar is a family man and a loving husband whose relationship stays away from scandals.

Omar has been in several on-screen productions including “Breakfast of Champions,” “Major League II,” “The Mod Squad,” and “Love & Basketball.”
