WELCOMING AMIR

The “Love & Basketball” star welcomed his son with Keisha on Christmas Day in 2007, joining their daughters K’Mari Mae and Aiyanna Yasmine who Omar had from a previous relationship. The actor shared:

“There is something with girls [...] where there’s this innate connection of the father to have with them. [...] With my son, with boys in general, they just have so much energy.”

Omar grew up without a father and penned his experience in his book, “From Fatherless to Fatherhood.” At a young age, the “Fatal Affair” actor’s father left him and his mother.
