Shay Mitchell Is a Proud Mother of 1 –– Meet Her Baby Daughter Atlas Noa

Ten months after childbirth, screen sensation Shay Mitchell is enjoying life with her ‘bundle of joy.’

Canadian actress Shay Mitchell, clearly basking in the joys of motherhood, recently posted a photo of herself and her daughter Atlas Noa on her Instagram page on Saturday, July 18.

Fashion finesse is certainly not a problem for the "Pretty Little Liars" star as she and her daughter are seen in a matching all-black ensemble. Her daughter, Atlas is certainly becoming a mini version of the classy fashionista actress.

[Shay Mitchell and Matte Babel ] learned about Atlas’ gender in the most unconventional way of watching Pink and Blue Power rangers slug it out.

According to TeenVogue, Mitchell is seen in the snap rocking a classic black bikini with a long-sleeved coverup to match, finishing off the look with compact sunshades laced with a gold chain.

Atlas wasn’t left out as she is seen in a mini black ‘two-piece.’ Mitchell added a caption to the post suggesting she’s “Coordinating pool looks” until Atlas tells her otherwise.

The adorable duo has drawn several comments from admirers and fans of the post and there is no doubt that Atlas is on track to becoming a head-turning fashion starlet with her mom there to show her the ropes.

This wasn’t the first time the multiple Teen Choice Award nominee would flaunt her cute daughter for the world to see as she has been known to do so several times since her baby arrived last October.

Teen Vogue also reported that Mitchell and her partner Matte Babel welcomed their baby girl last fall with a public announcement made on her Instagram page on October 20, 2019. Mitchell went ahead to announce their daughter’s name a week after in another heartfelt caption addressed to Atlas.

Per a USA Today article, the caption elucidated the inspiration behind her baby’s name suggesting that her journey through life and pregnancy brought about her daughter’s name. In Mitchell’s words which captioned the first snap to ever feature the newborn’s face:

"In my 32 years of life I thought I had seen a lot of places, experienced a lot of things, met a lot of people and felt love…then came you..."

The love of mother and child is no doubt surreal between these two and Mitchell has left no stone unturned in expressing her love towards her daughter. She expressed this on her Instagram page shortly after Atlas’ birth with the words,

"I am already so proud to be your Mama. Truth is I had no idea I was capable of loving anything like this before you arrived…"

Babel was also not left out in the matter as he took to his Instagram space to praise his girlfriend for the “strength, vulnerability and grace” she showed throughout the pregnancy.

The Canadian TV star expressed how lucky they were to have her and had no doubt she was going to be “an incredible mum”. According to People, the couple learned about Atlas’ gender in the most unconventional way of watching pink and blue Power Rangers slugging it out.

The pink ranger emerged as the winner of the duel. It hasn’t, however, been all rosy for the couple on the childbirth front as the "You" star suffered a miscarriage back in July 2018.

People also noted that the "Pretty Little Liars" star expressed her concern for mothers and women like her who have gone through more robust experiences, saying it was a “tough” feeling. The 32-year-old screen diva pulled off keeping her pregnancy under wraps for about six months despite her expected high profile.

As reported by CheatSheet, there are speculations on whether Mitchell is keeping another secret. Perhaps she’s married and keeping that a secret as well. The unanswered question if rumors are true will be when did she tie the knot?

One thing is certain, if there’s any truth in the guesses of who she tied the knot with, it will not exclude her two-year partner with whom she shares Canadian roots.
