Conor McGregor Is Engaged to Dee Devlin – Fast Facts about His Longtime Girlfriend

MMA fighter Conor McGregor recently announced his engagement to his girlfriend Dee Devlin, whom he has been dating since 2008. Take a look at their relationship over the years.

On Saturday, MMA fighter Conor McGregor took to his Instagram page to announce his engagement to longtime girlfriend, Dee Devlin.

In the post, the UFC star shared a picture of himself and Devlin all smiles and excited to be in each other’s arms, with the latter also flaunting her beautiful engagement ring.

McGregor captioned the picture, "What a birthday, my future wife." Fans of the fighter were delighted for him and shared their joy with loads of congratulatory messages.

McGregor and Devlin have been together since 2008, long before his rise to the top of the UFC rankings. He has also credited much of his success to her and once said that he would be nothing without her.

McGregor revealed during an interview on "The Late Late Show," that he met Devlin at a friend’s party and that they both liked each other and kept in touch via the-then social media website, "Bebo."

The fighter told VIP Magazine that Devlin looked like a good girl and that he was a fan of good girls. Devlin said she had an instant attraction to McGregor, describing him as a funny person, who always made her laugh and kept her entertained.

In June, McGregor announced his retirement from fighting, saying he had become bored of the game.

Despite her fiancé not being big when she met him, Devlin always knew that McGregor would attain the heights his talent deserved, revealing that she always knew he would make it big.

With the couple’s engagement, fans would be pleased that they are now setting their sights on getting married after McGregor revealed in that interview on “The Late Late Show” that marriage was not on the horizon for them.

The couple’s relationship experienced a major scare in 2017 when singer Rita Ora posted a picture of herself and McGregor on Twitter, captioning it, "Date Night."

The picture generated reactions from many fans who thought the singer and McGregor were on a date. However, Rita Ora posted two other pictures, one of herself and Donatella Versace, her real date on the night, and a photo of her then-boyfriend, Andrew Watt.

Devlin and McGregor’s attraction to each other is understandable, given that they are both believers in the Law of Attraction, and together, they have continuously achieved their dreams and aspirations.

They are parents to two children, Conor Jack McGregor Jr., who was born on May 5, 2017, and Croia McGregor, who was born on January 4, 2019

In June, McGregor announced his retirement from fighting, saying he had become bored of the game. Despite his retirement, the fighter is still being challenged by other fighters.

Recently, former Bellator champion, Michael Chandler, called McGregor out for a fight, boasting that he would floor the latter within two rounds. It remains to be seen if McGregor would respond to Chandler’s challenge.
