See Kelly Ripa's Perfect Comeback after Fan Criticizes Her Personal Grooming

On Monday, Kelly Ripa took to social media to share a short video advertising the newest season of “Live! With Kelly and Ryan.” One fan complained about how she looked in the clip and Ripa quickly shut down the troll.

Ripa, 49, and her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, 45, both featured in a new promo video for their show, “Live! With Kelly and Ryan.” The clip showed them waking up from their individual beds looking disheveled, brushing their teeth, getting ready and dressed, having something to drink, leaving their homes, and meeting up.

Ripa captioned the post by noting that she didn’t actually brush her teeth the way the video depicted. She also revealed that their talk show would be returning in the fall on September 7, 2020.

A FAN COMPLAINS

One person took to the comments section and complained about the pair displaying a "lack of personal grooming" while filming the show remotely. The co-hosts have been shooting the talk show from the comfort of their homes amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The follower noted how they were able to dress up for Zoom calls while working at home and felt Ripa and Seacrest needed to do the same thing. Showing she wouldn’t allow herself to be bullied, Ripa replied: “We are dressed. FCC rules, not mine.”

RIPA GIVES A COMEBACK

The star also shared with the poster that she would “bring it up at the next meeting.” Chances are she won’t be doing that, but who knows.

Ripa is used to dealing with trolls on social media as was the case in 2018. Someone replied to a post featuring the star and her husband, Mark Consuelos, making fun of him.

MOCKING MARK’S HEIGHT

The follower wrote: "Too bad he's short when he tries to look taller," and added, “It looks funny. Just be who you are." Ripa hilariously defended him saying: "He's tall where it counts babe."

CELEBRATING A BIRTHDAY

During her break from “Live!,” Ripa paid tribute to her friend and executive producer, Michael Gelman, on his birthday. She took to Instagram last Tuesday and shared a series of photos of herself with Gelman over the years.

WISHING MICHAEL A HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Ripa captioned it: "Happy birthday to our fearless leader! Just kidding, he's terrified.” She noted how it was the executive producer’s birthday and added that “he deserves a happy one!"
