Feng E wowed viewers with a ukulele act that he did from Taiwan. The youngster had to perform virtually because of the travel restrictions put in place due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Amid all the live show's excitement, “AGT” noted that Kelly Clarkson would be temporarily replacing Simon Cowell on the judges’ table.
As for Simon and Maria, the duo entertained the show’s judges with their salsa performance at the “Mel’s Diner” set that’s located on the Universal Studios lot.
The pig act, Pork Chop Revue also gave contestants a run for their money as they danced through an obstacle course with Gretchen Wilson’s “Here for the Party” playing in the background. Other notable acts included Archie Williams, Double Dragon, Brett Loudermilk, Michael Yo, and Roberta Battaglia.
Amid all the live show's excitement, “AGT” noted that Kelly Clarkson would be temporarily replacing Simon Cowell on the judges’ table. In the video that was used to break the news, Clarkson is seen rocking a green satin dress, minimal make-up, and gold earrings.
Although the wind tried to stifle her voice as she stood in front of what appeared to be a studio, Clarkson joked about talking like Cowell.
She eventually gave up after a few attempts and promised to bring “country to AGT.” Clarkson taking over Cowell’s judge duties became necessary after he fell during an electric bike test over the weekend. The incident, which occurred in his Malibu home, resulted in Cowell undergoing surgery as he broke multiple parts of his back.
It was subsequently reported that the former “American Idol” judge shared an appreciation message for the doctors and nurses that have helped him so far.
He even included some “good advice” for his fans when he asked them to “read the manual” before taking a ride on their electric bikes for the first time.
