Viola Davis Greets Anthony Anderson on His 50th Birthday & Congratulates Him on a Recent Honor – See What It Is
Viola Davis took to Instagram where she shared an adorable photo of herself alongside a sweet birthday tribute to Anthony Anderson who recently turned 50.
Anthony Anderson celebrated his 50th birthday and the actor received a sweet tribute from his friend, Viola Davis.
Taking to Instagram, Davis shared a gorgeous throwback photo of herself posing alongside Anderson. While she donned a white dress, Anderson was pictured wearing a burgundy and black tuxedo.

With smiles on both of their faces, the two friends posed side by side for the adorable picture which was captioned:
"Happy birthday to my fellow Leo @AnthonyAnderson and congrats on earning your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!! ??"
Shortly after sharing the photo, fans and followers took to the comments section where they left birthday wishes for Anderson.
Last Friday, Anderson was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during a virtual event that he attended alongside his loved ones.
Anderson is also the first celebrity to be honored with a star on the Walk of Fame since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Taking to Instagram, he shared a series of photos from the ceremony which included pictures of him posing with his star. He shared the photos alongside a caption where he noted that it was a great day for him. He added:
"Dreams do come true! Those dreams are made possible thru faith, hard work, patience, and sacrifice!"
Anderson was reportedly inducted into the 2018 Walk of Fame class but decided to wait until his 50th birthday to celebrate the milestone.
Anderson is most famous for his role as "Andre Johnson" in the hit ABC sitcom, "Black-ish." He also doubles as an executive producer for the show and its spinoffs. "Grown-ish" and "Mixed-ish."
For his role in "Black-ish," Anderson has received six consecutive Emmy nominations for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series. This makes him the most nominated Black actor for the same category in Emmy history.
Anderson is also the first celebrity to be honored with a star on the Walk of Fame since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In an interview with Variety, he admitted that he was looking forward to the glamour that came with getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Anderson rose to the spotlight in 2000 when he appeared in hit movies like "Big Momma's House" and "Me, Myself & Irene."
Two decades later, Anderson has enjoyed a successful career, and ultimately, he has made a name for himself as a remarkable actor.
