Daily Mail: Tarek El Moussa's Fiancée Heather Rae Young Gets Real about Being a Future Stepmom

“Selling Sunset” star Heather Rae Young opened up, in an exclusive interview, about the prospects of being a stepmother to her fiancée Tarek El Moussa’s kids.

In July, Heather Rae Young announced her engagement to Tarek El Moussa. Since then, she has remained excited about the development and is looking forward to being the stepmom to his children, Brayden James, and Taylor Reese.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Mail Australia, the reality television star expressed her delight at being engaged to El Moussa and said that they were committed to spending the rest of their lives as one.

The real estate expert further said that her priorities changed since she met El Moussa, 38. Young also said that she is happy to be the stepmom of her fiancée’s children, revealing that they have taught her to be patient and less selfish.

Young referred to El Moussa as a very loving and supporting partner, adding that she knew she wanted to be his wife from the very beginning.

Young, a former Playboy Playmate, further tagged El Moussa as her soulmate, stating that she could not wait to become Mrs. Heather Rae El Moussa.

The newly engaged couple met in July 2019 after being introduced to each other by a mutual friend. A year after their first meeting, they are now engaged.

Anstead has also reacted to her ex-husband’s engagement to Young.

El Moussa and his fiancée are already planning for their wedding and revealed exciting details about it in an exclusive interview with Hollywood Life’s TVTalk show.

During the chat, the couple revealed what their wedding must-haves are; Young said that the food during the ceremony must be amazing. She also said that she wanted a magical day with no drama.

The couple further explained that no date had been chosen for the nuptials, given that America was still battling the COVID-19 pandemic. They, however, said that they were planning for next year.

El Moussa shares his two kids with his ex-wife, Christina Anstead. Despite being divorced, the former couple remains good friends and co-parent their kids.

Anstead has also reacted to her ex-husband’s engagement to Young, telling E! News that she could not be happier for them and had sent them her regards.

In an exclusive chat with People in April, Anstead said that she and El Moussa were a united front when it came to co-parenting their kids and usually kept in touch daily.

The 36-year-old HGTV star added that despite their divorce, they remained focused on what is best for their children and are on the same page in that regard.
