On July 12, 2020, actress Kelly Preston passed away after battling cancer. Now her death certificate has been released and it reveals where she took her last breath.
According to “Us Weekly,” Kelly Preston’s death certificate notes how she passed away from breast cancer at her home in Clearwater, Florida. The actress was 57-years-old when she died last month after battling her diagnosis for two years.
The certificate also revealed how Preston’s body was transported to a nearby funeral home from the house she shared with husband, John Travolta, 66. The time of her death was noted as 11:46 a.m.

KELLY WAS CREMATED
The publication also shared how the actress was then cremated at the Brooksville Crematory in Brooksville, Florida. She left behind her husband of almost 30 years and two children.
The What a Girl Wants actress and Travolta are parents to daughter Ella, 20, and son Benjamin, 9. They also shared another son, Jett, who passed away at age 16 after suffering a seizure during a family vacation.
CONFIRMING HER DEATH
Travolta confirmed his wife’s passing with an Instagram post that included her photo during happier times. He explained in the caption how she’d fought the courageously and privately against breast cancer before succumbing to it.
Taking to Instagram after her mother’s death, Ella shared a touching tribute to the actress. The young woman reiterated her father’s statement as she described her mother as a “courageous, strong, beautiful” woman who was loving.

Another insider shared how Ella had been inseparable from her mother who was also her best friend. While little Benjamin worshipped his mother.
Preston and Travolta were also described as true partners. She was said to have been the one who kept the family together.

A source later revealed to “Closer Weekly,” how Travolta was trying his best to keep things together for their children. Ella was said to be helping him as he tried to comfort her as well.
Showing how Preston’s memory would live on, the insider shared how the family patriarch saw his wife in their daughter. He noted how both allegedly shared “strength and unconditional love” and that Ella had all of the late actress’s good qualities.

A possible challenge that Travolta might face, besides the death of his wife, is the backlash from the Church of Scientology. The church, which the actor has been a member of for 45 years, doesn’t believe in receiving treatment for illnesses like cancer.

He defied them by going against this belief to get medical assistance for his sickly wife. In his announcement about Preston’s death, the star revealed how she’d gotten help from the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
