When she gets to Canada, Reinhart will self-isolate for two weeks, which is part of CDC regulations. After that is complete, she will return to set. The actress also revealed that the cast would have to finish up with the episodes left when the show halted in March.
The 23-year-old noted that the cast would look different from when the show stopped, before joking that she had gained weight. She said:
"We're all going to be significantly tanner...maybe I've gained weight during quarantine, so I'll look a little different."
According to the actress, the differences between the scenes shot in March and those that will be shot in September would be easy to tell, given the gap and the changes that had taken place.
It was earlier revealed that fans of "Riverdale" should expect a time jump for the show's casts in the new season, and Reinhart teased the development during her interview.
The actress noted that her life changed drastically in the last three years and that she never had the time to process all of the changes.
She explained that there would be a seven-year time jump into the future, which meant that the characters of the series would no longer be teenagers.
Reinhart said she was excited about the development and that it would be nice for her to portray an adult. The actress also said that she took the opportunity of the time-off to reflect on the success she has enjoyed in the last few years.

Reinhart is not far from the truth with her assessment. A lot has happened in her life and career in such a short time since she made her debut on "Riverdale" in 2017.
The changes are made more special because she almost quit acting to become a makeup artist. However, she still enjoys being a makeup artist, which is like a hobby for her.
With the return to filming for the new "Riverdale" season, production will begin on September 14. However, fans will still wait until January 2021 for the premiere.
