Why Jordin Sparks Is Not Planning on Having a Second Child after Welcoming Her Son DJ

Being a mom could be great and exciting but it could also be a handful. For Jordin Sparks, it is a little bit of both and she does not think having more than one kid is something she is up for.

While promoting her "Sounds Like Me" EP in a recent exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Sparks revealed that she and her husband, Dana Isaiah are not planning to give their 2-year-old a sibling. She said:

"Yeah, I'm good with one. We're both good. I can't say what's going to happen in the future, but I'm, like, very sure that it's still gonna stay just one."

The 30-year-old told the news outlet that her sweet toddler, DJ is amazing and more than enough for her and her hubby.

As a first-time mom, Sparks said that she knew what she was going through and knew that she needed to focus on her little one.

Their amusing story began with both their moms putting them in a group chat.

Having to split her attention between her husband, Isaiah and her 2-year-old was a lot for Sparks. The singer is a nurturer by nature. She loves to care for and be there for other people always.

The "Tattoo" crooner was not sure that she would be able to keep up with that and still have enough time for herself if the family expanded.

Little DJ is already growing up so fast. Now he can run around and do things and be super active. He is also getting better at talking and is now able to express himself and whatever he needs.

The 2-year-old arrived into the world in the most story-worthy experience. Sparks decided that she did not want to have her son in a hospital.

She preferred to deliver her child in a birthing center and without any medication whatsoever. DJ eventually came on May 2, 2018.

Sparks and Isaiah went through the emotional delivery together and according to the parents in their exclusive with People, the proud dad caught the newborn in his arms when he came.

The husband and wife were both ecstatic with the arrival of their son. Their sweet bundle of joy lit up their world with his small presence.

Sparks and Isaiah's love story began long before DJ came into their lives. The amusing story began with both their moms putting them in a group chat.

Isaiah, who is a model, was planning to relocate to L.A. to further his career. Sparks had the experience when it came to navigating the L.A. scene so their moms included all four of them in one group chat.

From there, the love sparked and there was no looking back. Now, the small unit of two has become a happy unit of three and it seems like it's going to stay that way for a while.
