Garcelle Beauvais Shows off Her Gorgeous New Hairstyle as She Poses in a Black & White Outfit

Garcelle Beauvais recently posted a photo flaunting her long braided hair and extra glow: “Everyone is capable of looking up and wishing on a star.”

Garcelle Beauvais looked stunning in her new Instagram post showing her glowing face as her hair was pulled back into a braid.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star also flaunted her contoured makeup in the side-by-side photos taken from different angles.

BECOMING A REALITY STAR

Beauvais first joined the reality show in 2019 for its tenth season, becoming the first Black housewife surrounded by White cast members.

However, the Haitian-American actress was not new to several cameras rolling. She began her career as a model for Ford Models and Irene Marie Models after moving to America from her native land

She later became an actress, appearing in minor roles for hit shows like “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Family Matters,” and “Miami Vice."

LANDING BIG ROLES

In 1996, Beauvais became a lead character in the ‘90s sitcom, “The Jamie Foxx Show” followed by “NYPD Blue” from 2001 to 1004.

Beauvais shares her son with her ex-husband, Daniel Saunders, whom she divorced in 2000.

Her recent appearances include “Siren,” “The Magicians Power,” “Grimm,” and “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” This year, the actress is set to appear in the comedy “Coming 2 America” alongside Eddie Murphy.

BEAUVAIS TALKS ABOUT INEQUALITY

Despite her two-decade experience in the entertainment industry, Beauvais revealed that she is not being paid equally as White entertainers. She said:

“My white counterparts get paid 1000% more than I do... We’re not valued as we should be. I just feel like it’s been happening for a long time, and now I’m not putting up with it.”

The former model stayed quiet about the unjust payment she received over the years until she eventually stood her ground.

FAMILY THERAPY

Recently, Beauvais’ son, Oliver Saunders tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Sam, with whom he shares a child.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the reality star still gets to visit the new parents and her little grandchild.

Beauvais shares her son with her ex-husband, Daniel Saunders, whom she divorced in 2000. She later married Mike Nilon but also left him after discovering his infidelities.
