Artem Chigvintsev is set to return on the newest season of "Dancing With the Stars." He is excited to be dancing again after taking some time off. Speaking on "Good Morning America," he said:
"Last season, watching from the sidelines, really made me realize how much I really miss the show, I miss performing live."

Chigvintsev, who recently welcomed his son with former wrestler Nikki Bella added that although the time off was necessary to take care of his son, he wanted to be back. He revealed that:
"I just can't wait to get back. I want to dedicate this season to my little boy."
Chigvintsev's return would mean this is his ninth time on the dance show, and although the strains of parenthood might be holding him back a bit, he is excited to be a part of it.
In the 25th season of the show, Chigvintsev met his fiancee Nikki Bella when she was his dance partner for the season. They both came in seventh place, but love soon blossomed between them.
The joy of being a father and having a lover by his side is enough to motivate him.
The pair got engaged sometime in November 2019 and welcomed their son on July 31st, 2020. Speaking on fatherhood, Chigvintsev admitted that he is obsessed with his little tot.
Although their son keeps them up most of the night, he and Nikki are happy and would not have it any other way. While it might be challenging for the couple to keep waking up at intervals every night, they are determined to see it through.
Nikki has revealed that she is excited Chigvintsev would be returning to the dance floor as this was something he missed doing greatly. On the other hand, Chigvintsev has been preparing for a comeback since and has kept in shape by gyming every day.
Season 29 of "Dancing With The Stars" has some major professional dancers lined up. While some long time favorites might be missing, new professional dancers would be added to the line-up.
Interestingly, Sharna Burgess will be making her highly-anticipated return after being cut for season 28, while Keo Motsepe is back as a full-time pro after not having a celebrity partner last year.
This year, they would all be competing for the mirror ball trophy, and each of those lined up to take part is determined to win it. Also, superstar model Tyra Banks is set to host this season, this would make her the first black female host.
For Chigvintsev, the joy of being a father and having a lover by his side is enough to motivate him to give it his all as he does not want to let down his son and fiancee.
