Hugh Hefner's Son Cooper Became a Father to a Baby Girl — See the Name He Revealed

Cooper Hefner recently took to Instagram to announce the arrival of his daughter with Scarlett Byrne. He also disclosed the name of their little bundle of joy!

Cooper Hefner and his wife, Scarlett Byrne, welcomed a baby girl and have disclosed the name of their daughter. Taking to Instagram, Hefner broke the exciting news with a post that included pictures of their new addition.

In the first slide, Byrne was pictured smiling on a hospital bed while she held the newborn. A smiling Hefner stood next to the bed while placing his hands on his wife and daughter.

The next slide featured a short clip where the couple was seen sharing a kiss while Byrne held their baby straddled against her chest.

The last slide was a solo picture of the newborn wrapped in a blanket with her eyes closed as she enjoyed a nap. In the caption, Hefner wrote:

"At 5:23 pm this afternoon, Scarlett and I welcomed our daughter Betsy Rose Hefner into the world."

Shortly after sharing the post, fans and followers showed love to the couple by leaving lovely congratulatory messages in the comments section.

The couple's daughter was named after Hefner's grandmother, Betsy Aldridge Conrad, who passed away last month.

Hefner reportedly launched a preliminary campaign to run for the California Senate in its 30th district.

Cooper is the son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner who passed away from sepsis in September 2017; he was aged 91. In September 2018, Cooper took to Instagram, where he paid a sweet tribute while reflecting on his father's death anniversary.

Sharing two pictures of himself with Hugh, Hefner penned a touching caption where he expressed how difficult it was to move on. He added:

"Acknowledging the absence allows me to celebrate, as it connects me to a love I carry with me each day. We miss and love you.‬"

Hugh welcomed Cooper with his second ex-wife, Kimberley Conrad. In addition to him, the late publisher is also a father to sons David and Marston Hefner as well as daughter Christie Hefner.

In 2016, Cooper replaced his father as the Chief Creative Officer of Playboy Jazz Festival. Three years later, he left the media company and set out to launch his.
