On Friday, the 36-year-old shared a photo of herself in front of a poster promoting "Power Book II: Ghost." Fans could be forgiven for getting a little overexcited on seeing Naughton who looked stunning in the shot.

The actress turned out in braids, donning a lovely white outfit featuring a cropped top, jacket, and long pants. She completed her look with gold accessories, including a pair of looped earrings, bracelets, and an elegant necklace.

Naughton commended her outfit's designer, Ashley Stewart, but not before hyping up her 2.3 million Instagram followers with information about the latest installment of the "Power" drama. She said:

“#FreeTasha ? Sept 6th #PowerBook2 @ghoststarz returns on #STARZ!”

Naughton's post was warmly received by fans as many admired the actress' appearance. They showered her compliments, with many praising her hairdo.

Following the original show's shocking finale, most fans expressed excitement for the release of the upcoming show, "Power Book II: Ghost." The series, which premieres on Sunday, September 6, is the first of four separate spin-off series in the "Power" franchise.

Naughton split from her ex three months after they welcomed their daughter.

Naughton has reprised her role as the recently imprisoned Tasha St. Patrick and stars in the show alongside Michael Rainey Jr. who co-stars as her son, Tariq.

Despite her success in the TV industry, Naughton is also a devoted mother. In 2017, she welcomed a daughter, Zuri, with her longtime boyfriend, Ben.

Naughton has since admitted to putting in a lot of effort balancing motherhood and her career but asserts that a sound support system is critical. She said:

"Make sure you get help. People understand that it's not easy being a mother and being a working actress or working woman..."

Family support has definitely been critical to Naughton's exploits. She admitted to being devastated for about two years following her and Ben's split three months after their child was born.

Nonetheless, Naughton has since recovered and is now involved in a new romantic affair. Although she has yet to release her new partner's identity, the mother-of-one recently expressed that the time spent in COVID-19 quarantine helped strengthen their relationship.

Naughton has also revealed some of her on-set struggles. She admitted that some scenes on "Power" were emotionally challenging and have helped tremendously in developing her craft. Fans would surely be hoping for more dramatic exchanges in the upcoming spin-offs.
