On Sunday, new mom Katy Perry released the music video for her song, "Champagne Problems," which was filmed prior to her first child's birth. She shared a clip on social media in which she jokingly referenced her old body.

Perry and her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, welcomed a daughter last Thursday. That same week, Perry released her full album, "Smile." Her latest video is the fifth single from the album. The post is found below.

In the clip, Perry wore a stunning silvery glittering dress that featured a high slit on her thigh. She paired the glamorous piece with equally shimmering head adornment.

The singer wore her hair in a fiery red pin-up girl style with bouncy curls that fell just below her shoulder. Her makeup boasted a winged eyeliner, and she wore a nude lip.

One excited fan could not help but notice Perry's similarities to pop legend, Cher, in the video. The "Goddess of Pop" is well-known for rocking shiny, extravagant outfits.

SHARING HER MATERNITY LOOK

In the video, Perry's baby bump was non-existent or a modest size compared to recent weeks. The singer joked: "Listen to 'Champagne Problems' to get your pre-baby body back."

The hilarious statement came amid Perry showing off her post-baby body in her Instagram stories over the weekend. Perry put her own twist on the MTV Video Music Award ceremony's step-and-repeat photo style.

She included the banner for the Sunday event in her photo. The "Fireworks" singer wore a nude nursing bra and gray maternity underwear. She included the relevant tags for both pieces for clothing.

Perry also jokingly tagged "exhaustion" as the source of her hair and makeup. In the shot, she stood in her bathroom. Her phone was in one hand while the other hand was open as a sort of presentation.

PERRY PLANS FOR PARENTHOOD

Perry previously revealed that her pregnancy with Bloom was planned beforehand, so all of this was somewhat expected. She even intended to walk down the aisle while pregnant.

Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic caused a delay in the couple's wedding. Still, marriage was the only thing that Perry had to post-pone. Before giving birth, she pledged to be a working mom.

BLOOM ANNOUNCES THE BIRTH

So far, she has very much lived up to the promise with the release of her album. As for Bloom, he seems equally ecstatic with the arrival of his baby girl, Daisy Dove.

The actor announced the newborn was finally here in a sweet post that showed his daughter's tiny hand holding onto one of his fingers. His mother held onto both of them.

In the caption, Bloom shared an interview he and fiancée Perry did with UNICEF regarding their efforts towards assisting pregnant women and newborns who do not have access to their basic needs.
