For television host Wendy Williams, Labor Day weekend was spent with a lot of fun, as she revealed in a recent post on her Instagram. The TV host posted a selfie with an unidentified mystery man and captioned:

"I'm happy in the Hamptons with my special friend FOR Labor Day weekend. He's hot...Caror!❤️"

In the photo, Williams was the center of attraction while her mysterious special friend was barely identifiable. She wore a dark face shield and a matching black Wendy face mask to keep in line with the pandemic safety guidelines.

Her mystery man, on the other hand, was not sporting any protective gear as they were seated in a car. Focused on driving, only his full grey beard could be spotted alongside a pair of glasses and AirPods sticking out of his ears.

With their interest fully piqued, Williams' fans trooped to the comment section of the post, demanding to know if that was her new beau. The television host gave nothing away.

Speculations have long since been flying around on social media. Many fans suspect that their favorite television host might have a new partner after all.

In July, the 56-year-old's show became the first daytime talk show to announce its return to in-studio productions set for September.

Late in February, the "The Wendy Williams Show" host had to debunk rumors that she and jeweler William Selby were going out. The rumors began when she shared a brow-raising snap of her huddled up and seemingly cuddling with the jeweler with a caption that read:

"Later on...studio with @blacpapipmh ...another Friday night."

The photo of Williams and Selby caught in such warm smiles started giving her fans ideas, sending them into such a speculating frenzy that she had to address it on her show.

The 56-year-old revealed that she did, in fact, have an interesting time that weekend. She narrated how she ran into a young rapper from Philadelphia, Black Papi, and took a short trip to his studio where he was recording some music. She happened to be with her friend, Selby.

Williams established that he was just her friend and admitted that she was probably one of his low-paying clients because she was not exactly purchasing jewelry at all times.

Selby was just her friend whom she liked a lot, the television show host reiterated. They were huddled up together because the studio was very cold and it was only a nice innocent weekend out.

Williams was married to TV producer Kevin Hunter for over two decades until they split up in 2019 in a highly-publicized affair.

The 56-year-old confirmed that her ex-husband impregnated a woman with whom he was cheating on her. The situation was part of the motivation for her to walk away.

Early in August, the media personality took a swift chance to take a jab at her ex. She shared a selfie with one of her friend's babies and subtly said she was not the only Hunter with a baby situation. The shade did not go unnoticed by the public.

Even amid the pandemic, Williams has continued to give her fans and viewers of her show the premium content they all appreciate her for.

In July, the 56-year-old's show became the first daytime talk show to announce its return to in-studio productions set for September.

While Williams might not be ready to tell if she does have a new partner or reveal his identity, she is ready to return to her viewers with more humor and fun on her show. For now, they will just have to take what she gives them and let her move at her own pace.
