Monday's episode of "Today with Hoda & Jenna" saw the co-hosts discuss the start of the new school year amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The co-hosts spoke about the excitement that came with starting a new school year in September, with Jenna saying she took it as though it was a new year.

They recounted some of their childhood experiences and how they looked forward to it. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the new school year feels a little different.

Parents are torn between allowing their children to attend classes remotely or in person. Jenna's daughter will be attending her classes remotely, and it is a prospect that scares her so much, as her mom revealed.

Jenna said that her daughter came to her and said she was scared. After she asked her why she felt that way, the 7-year-old said that the new school year would be different because there were kids in her class that she did not know.

Hearing her daughter's concerns, Jenna let Mila know that it was okay to speak about her fears of not attending classes in person.

Jenna is from a family with a rich political history, as her grandfather, George H.W. Bush, was also a POTUS.

Jenna emphasized the need for parents to listen to their kids, adding that everyone wanted someone to listen to them. The television anchor added that she was able to talk to her daughter about her fears.

Jenna is a proud mom who loves to dote on her kids. She regularly shares pictures and videos of herself and her family's special moments with fans on social media.

The mother of three celebrated the fifth birthday of her middle child and daughter, Poppy, sharing rare family photos to mark the day, melting fans' hearts.

One of the photos was a funny snap of Poppy wearing goggles in the house, while another one showed the 5-year-old enjoying a yummy dessert treat.

Jenna is the daughter of former President of the United States of America, George W. Bush. She is from a family with a rich political history, as her grandfather, George H.W. Bush, was also a POTUS.

The Bush family is a close bunch, and fans got to see that when Jenna shared a rare throwback picture of herself and her twin sister Barbara spending time with their grandfather.

Jenna shared the picture on June 12, a day that would have been the late George H. W. Bush's 96th birthday. In the caption, she said that she missed him every day, before adding that she sees his gentleness and compassion in her three kids.
