Mark Consuelos Sends Sweet Message to Kelly Ripa as They Spend Time Apart

Mark Consuelos made sure Kelly Ripa knew she was on his mind while they spend time apart. The actor recently shared a sweet message for his wife on social media.

On September 14, Mark Consuelos took to his Instagram Story to let his wife, Kelly Ripa, knew he was thinking about her while he stays in Vancouver for the filming of the hit television series, "Riverdale."

Consuelos shared an image of the television screen showing his wife during her appearance in the latest episode of "Live with Kelly and Ryan." He wrote: "Good morning sweetie." His latest romantic gesture captured the hearts of many.

The 49-year-old actor added four red heart emoji to his sweet post. In the photo, Ripa is seen smiling as she sat in the studio. She looked stunning in a collared, paisley-print dress.

Recently, Ripa talked about missing her husband during an episode of her morning talk show. She said the lockdown had been the longest time that they had spent together in a while.

Ripa and Consuelos have been open about their family affairs.

Ripa and Consuelos, who share three children, are both busy with their respective jobs, so they cannot spend much time with each other. It is no surprise that they keep missing each other.

"It was a testament that we really like each other," the television host said. "I'm sad not to wake up with him, it's very sad. I will miss him, that's all I can say."

The couple has been forced to be away from each other after Consuelos returned to filming for Season 5 of "Riverdale," which is based on the characters of Archie Comics.

Even if the actor wants to go home for a while to be with his family, it is not possible because of the travel restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 disease.

Consuelos was able to head back to New York when his schedule permitted during the show's previous seasons. That means the couple did not have to spend too much time away from each other.

Ripa and Consuelos first met in February 1994. Then 23, the actor was auditioning for a part on the TV series "All My Children." There, he fell in love with Ripa, who was his on-screen love interest.

Ripa and Consuelos started dating, and in May 1996, the pair eloped to Las Vegas. They are now doting parents to three beautiful children, Michael, Lola, and Joaquin.

To celebrate the 26th anniversary of the day they first met, Consuelos surprised his wife with a bouquet of roses. Ripa and Consuelos have been open about their family affairs.
