Famous American actor and singer, Jesse Metcalfe, has opened up in a recent interview about his experience on the new season of the show "Dancing with the Stars."
The star who was paired with the distinguished Australian ballroom dancer, Sharna Burgess, confessed that having a dance partner was like being in a new relationship.

Though the pair were just getting to know each other, they evidently shared smooth chemistry as they pleased their viewers with a very passionate and romantic dubstep.
However, Metcalfe had expressed his displeasure at how serious he had been all through the performance. He further promised to have a smile on during the next. He said:
"I didn't bring a lot of the charm to the performance that I know I can bring... I'm gonna actually smile. I don't think I smiled once the entire performance."
On the other hand, Burgess revealed that she saw so much potential in Metcalfe, especially since he had no prior experience with dancing. She also added that the star was going to get better in the coming weeks.
The pair had reportedly danced to "Part-time lover" by the legendary Stevie Wonder. Their performance had also earned them an 18 out of 30 from the judges' scoreboard.
In 2007, the star reportedly checked himself into rehab after battling substance addiction.
The star-studded performances had been worth the watch as many of the other contestants also danced beautifully. However, not all of their moves had been flawless, judging from the range of scores.
Reportedly, the pair with the highest score had been Disney star Skai Jackson and Alan Bersten, scoring 21 out of 30, while Carole Baskin and her partner Pasha Pashkov got the lowest score, 11 out of 30.
Besides being a jack of all trades, Metcalfe has, over the years, also battled his demons. In 2007, it was reported that the star checked himself into rehab after battling with substance addiction.
On his Instagram in 2018, the actor posted a polaroid photo of himself the day he went to the rehab center. He also reminisced that those times had been the "darkest periods of his life."
Also, in 2008 the star was said to have been hospitalized after falling off a balcony. However, he had only fractured his fibula, and this had been a close call for the star. Years later, he seems to be doing just fine.
For Metcalfe, taking part in the dancing contest had been a significant change in his typical routine. Over the years, the star has given remarkable movie performances, and it's safe to assume that now dancing might top that list.
