Brielle Biermann recently came under fire when she posted a photo of herself sitting on her stepdad, Kroy Biermann's laps, while celebrating his 35th birthday. She captioned the post:

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the most amazing father & man I'll ever know... I'm so proud of you and all you've accomplished...love love you, dad!"

Things went south in the comments section as fans responded to the post with mixed feelings. While some saw nothing wrong with the post, others took offense.

One user asked why she was seated on her "mommas husband's lap?" She immediately replied, saying it was because she had nowhere to sit while they joked about him being Santa.

Another user wanted to know if she had "hooked up" with him and Brielle asked, "do you hook up with your dad?" Brielle is the eldest daughter of reality star Kim Zolciak-Biermann.

When Kim and Kroy tied the knot in 2011, he adopted her daughters, Brielle and her sister, Ariana, as his own. The former football star announced news of the adoption in July 2013.

Kim and Kroy later welcomed their sons, KJ and Kash, and twins Kane and Kaia. Kim, who had been living a "regimented" life before starting a family, has found joy in the essence of family and would not have it any other way.

Candace reminded fans that Valeri is her husband of more than two decades, and if he wants to touch her, he had every right to.

Brielle is not the first celebrity to be called out on account of a photo netizens found offensive. Earlier this month, Candace Cameron Bure received backlash for sharing a provocative post, which captured her standing with her husband, Valeri's hand on her breast.

The picture seemed to offend her more conservative fans, and they took to the comments section to criticize her. She eventually had to take the post down, choosing to vent in a series of since-deleted videos she shared on her Instagram page.

In the videos, Candace reminded fans that Valeri is her husband of more than two decades, and if he wants to touch her, he had every right to.

The "Fuller House" star later shared the picture again via her Instagram story– this time, she added that she did it with her husband's blessings. Candace and Valeri took the walk down the altar in 1996. The couple share daughter Natasha, and sons Lev and Maksim.
