Here's What Happened When Jessica Alba Unintentionally Walked over a 5ft Rattle Snake

American Actress Jessica Alba experienced a "hand in the mouth" moment after she unknowingly walked over a rattlesnake in a video she shared with fans on Instagram.

Jessica Alba gave her fans the chills when she shared a video showing her close encounter with a rattlesnake, on her Instagram page on Saturday.

In the video, the actress looked gorgeous as she posed for photographs. She wore a white top and green pants. Alba also wore a facemask amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

She posed in front of a statue. Alba's photographer asked the actress to take her facemask off so he could take her photo in portrait mode and capture the serene environment.

As the star motioned to take off the mask, she caught sight of a 5-foot long rattlesnake snake on the ground. Alba exclaimed, while people in the background also screamed, asking her to leave the place immediately. She captioned the post:

"When u unknowingly walk over a 5ft ? rattle☠️??.... ?adult language."

Alba also shared a picture of the reptile as it laid on the floor. Her fans were just as shocked as she was, and shared their views about the incident in the post's comment section.

Anjelah Johnson thanked God the snake did not bite Alba, while April Love Geary said the snake was probably shocked at seeing Alba standing next to him.

The proud mom shared a picture of herself in tears over the realization that her 12-year-old daughter, Honor, is now taller than her.

With her rattlesnake encounter, Alba joined a long list of celebrities with interesting relationships with the slithering creatures. While the actress ran away from the snake, some of her co-celebs are welcoming of snakes.

Katherine Heigl, for one, got cozy with a slippery snake during a Las Vegas party. Even Angelina Jolie was all smiles and jovial when she had a snake wrap itself around her during a German talk show appearance.

The same could not be said about Nicole Scherzinger, who showed she was not a fan of snakes when the reptile was attracted to her during her appearance in Germany.

Alba is a mother of three children, Honor Marie, 12, Hayes, 2, and Haven Garner, 9, whom she shares with her husband, Cash Warren.

In a recent Instagram post, the proud mom shared a picture of herself in tears over the realization that her 12-year-old daughter, Honor, is now taller than her.

The first photo in the post showed mother and daughter hugging each other while a second snap showed them with their backs against each other as Alba proved her daughter was now taller than her.
