After welcoming their bundle of joy over the weekend, the couple took to their individual social media pages to share the exciting news with the rest of the world.

On Wednesday, doting mother, Gigi shared a heartwarming photo of her daughter's hand holding on to Malik's thumbs alongside a caption that read:

"Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend, and she's already changed our world. So in love."

The little bundle of joy did indeed spark a buzz in the world as several celebrities trooped to the comments section to congratulate the new parents.

Leading the tributes was Hailey Beiber, who expressed her delight for the new parents alongside a string of heart emojis, after which colleague Emily Ratajkowski congratulated the couple.

Gigi's dad, Mohamed Hadid, also had nothing but sweet words to say about his granddaughter as he confessed that his heart belongs to the newborn.

"To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding."

Fans may recall that Gigi and Malik first shared the news of their pregnancy on April 30 during the model's appearance on "The Jimmy Fallon Show."

The 25-year-old explained that she wished the news of her pregnancy didn't leak out before she and Malik could announce it, but she remains grateful for the outpouring of love.
