More than a month after Naya Rivera’s death, her younger sister, Nickayla Rivera was questioned online for her recent move. In her Instagram Story, the 26-year-old model wrote:

"In the darkest timeline of my life, the only thing that is important is my friends [and] family. Showing up for my nephew even though I can’t show up for myself."

Nickayla added that she is not concerned about how things look like right now because she is only concerned about her sister’s 5-year-old son, Josey.

Naya and Dorsey welcomed their son in 2015. The following year, Naya filed for divorce, but the former pair reportedly reconciled shortly. However, they called it quits again in 2018.

Nickayla also emphasized in her Instagram Story that she learned to “show compassion” and not to judge other people. She hopes that everyone would do the same thing, she added.

On how Nickayla and Dorsey became the topic online, many reports surfaced about them being spotted together in public. The 37-year-old actor was reportedly moving into a new house with his son and his ex-wife's sister.

On July 8, Naya's dead body was found at a shore in Lake Piru, California. The actress, who is best known for her role as Santana in the musical-themed TV series "Glee," was last seen swimming in the lake with her son.

Ever since Josey arrived in their lives, the young model has grown close to the little boy and would spend a lot of time playing with him.

Nickayla wrote that there were no words to describe her love for her sister. Although they had opposite personalities, their bond is infinite and unbreakable.

In her July 28 photo, she is seen beaming with a smile beside Naya with blue hearts as her caption for her post. The siblings shared a striking resemblance.

Dorsey seems to have found comfort in Nickayla. Ever since Josey arrived in their lives, the young model has grown close to the little boy and would spend a lot of time playing with him.

Citing an anonymous source, ET reported that Naya’s family is making sure to keep the actress’s memory alive. While it is a difficult time for the family, Josey is coping well and is “doing better every day.”

As for Dorsey, he is still grieving and struggling with his ex-wife’s death. The source added that the actor stays strong for his son, his “whole world” right now.

Like Dorsey, the wife of the late Broadway actor Nick Cordero, Amanda Kloots also struggled to cope with his husband’s death. She revealed on her Instagram post that September is a “hard month” for her.

Cordero died in July due to coronavirus complications. Kloots wrote that there are a lot of occasions in September that are important for her and her late husband, including his birthday.
