People: Nicki Minaj Is a New Mom as She Welcomes Her First Child with Husband Kenneth Petty

Nicki Minaj has given birth to her first child! The rapper welcomed her baby with her husband Kenneth "Zoo" Petty on September 30, 2020, in Los Angeles.

Nicki Minaj is officially a mom now! The rapper and her husband, Kenneth "Zoo" Petty welcomed their bundle of joy on September 30 but are yet to confirm the news and reveal the baby's name at the time of this writing.

According to People, a source confirmed the news of their baby's arrival without revealing further details about the birth. The news comes a few months after the 37-year-old debuted pictures of her baby bump, sending the internet into a frenzy.

HER EPIC PREGNANCY PHOTOSHOOT

With a series of vibrant photos, Minaj took to Instagram to share the news of her pregnancy back in July. A yellow-haired Minaj was seen cradling her big baby bump in the photograph.

"Preggers," Minaj captioned the post that she shared on July 20. That same day, she shared yet another photo of herself rocking an eccentric look as she stood in a pair of sparkling high heels and posed for the camera.

In the second shot, Minaj switched her yellow wig for a bright blue one. She donned a multi-colored ruffled top with puffed shoulders and tassels hanging from either side of the straps.

Fans are eagerly waiting for Minaj and her husband to reveal more details about the birth.

SHE LOOKED LIKE A DREAM

The bottom piece had the same tassels and she donned it with a pair of white stockings. With a baby bump that big, it was a wonder how she managed to stand with those high heels on.

Another picture that followed was from the yellow wig and bikini series and saw her lounging on a pastel pink sofa as she held a neutral expression. If there is one word that can describe another picture that she shared afterward, its "otherwordly."

The picture was taken by renowned photographer and film director, David LaChapelle. Minaj ditched the colorful look for a wet look dress that covered her chest and spiraled onto her right leg while covering the left one.

She cradled her baby bump with both hands and again, held a neutral expression while posing. A long, ornate drape covered her head and cascaded down from her body towards the grassy ground.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE COUPLE!

In the background, a large piece of white tie-dyed cloth was attached to a huge circular rim. Sunlight could not penetrate through, but one could see the light it cast upon the colorful circle, making it look like a portal through which Minaj came into the forest.
