American actress, Tia Mowry of "Sister, Sister" fame, embraced her natural growing hair flaunting her afro in a picture she shared with fans on her Instagram page.

"Sister, Sister" star Tia Mowry was confident and proud of her natural hair in a picture post on her Instagram page on Tuesday as she flaunted her growing gray afro.

The actress shared a selfie of herself clad in a black top with her legs folded and her face pushed forward. She wore light makeup and pouted her lips.

Tia accessorized her look with two big round earrings and a necklace. The selfie's focus was the actress's beautiful grey hair which shined forth in the snap.

It showed that Tia embraces her natural gray hair and is loving her aging process. In the caption to the post, the mother of two told her fans

"Y'all my #fro is growing!! #naturalhair ??‍?."

Tia's fans who reacted to the post showered her with loving comments. One fan said she still looked young, urging her to stay that way. The fan also advised everyone to embrace their youth until they could no longer do so.

A second fan likened Tia's hair to salt and pepper hair, saying they loved it. Alba Ramos said she loved how Tia embraced her natural hair while Tara Stiles described the actress as a gorgeous mama.

Despite the fame and recognition that came the sisters' way in the 1990s, they still suffered some racial prejudices as teens.

This is not the first time Tia would be posting a picture of her natural gray hair. In August, the mother of two shared a gorgeous gray hair selfie on Instagram.

She wore a blue turtle neck sweatshirt, accessorized with big earrings and necklaces, smiling cutely in the snapshot. In the caption to the post, the beautiful actress wrote

"This is Me. 42 ??."

Tia and her twin sister Tamera rose to fame in the 1990s when they starred in "Sister, Sister." Since then, they have gone on to star in several other films and television shows, either together or separately.

One such film the twins starred in together was Disney Channel's "Twitches," where they played twin witches, Alex and Camryn.

Tamera revealed Tia played both their parts in one scene of the film after she (Tamera) got caught up with a tight schedule. The fact that only a few people noticed it shows how identical the sisters are.

Despite the fame and recognition that came the sisters' way in the 1990s, they still suffered some racial prejudices as teens.

An emotional Tia spoke about one such occasion when she revealed she and Tamera were denied the chance of being on a popular magazine cover. They were told they were black and would not sell.

Despite those sad instances, Tia and Tamera rose above all their challenges to hit the heights of fame. Today, the twins are proud moms, both with two kids while being adorable wives to their husbands.
