The 43-year-old made a virtual appearance as a guest on "The Ellen DeGeneres" show, which aired on Tuesday, October 6, and shared his experience with being a father for the second time.
Back in September, the "Roar" singer shared her thoughts on motherhood with a series of tweets.
The father-of-two told the show's host, Ellen DeGeneres, that his daughter, Daisy Dove's facial appearance, has changed since she was born. The "Carnival Row" star claimed that his daughter was a mini-version of himself when she was born but also looked like her mother thanks to their matching blue eyes.
However, that soon changed and the little girl began to look like his mother. While the actor might not be the best at figuring out who his daughter resembled, he is better at putting Daisy to sleep.
The "Pirates Of The Caribbean" actor has been able to soothe his baby girl by whispering a Buddhist mantra in her ear. Bloom has also recited this same mantra since he was 16-years-old and it apparently worked wonders in calming his daughter down.
The self-proclaimed baby whisperer and his five-time Billboards Award winner fiancée welcomed their daughter on August 26 and announced her arrival through a post uploaded on Instagram by UNICEF.
The couple who are Goodwill Ambassadors for the organization shared a black and white picture that captured only the hands of the happy parents and their child.
The little girl is the first child for the singer and the second for the actor who has a son named Flynn Christopher Bloom with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Back in September, the "Roar" singer shared her thoughts on motherhood with a series of tweets where she tackled popular misconceptions about being a working mother.
Katy explained that mothers returning to work after maternity leave did not mean they were back from a break but were returning from working as full-time moms.
The "Dark Horse" singer also urged fans to express their appreciation for their mothers more often and ended her tweet with a declaration of love for her job as a mother.
