Watch Impressive Video of Jordin Sparks' Husband Lifting Her up with Ease during Squat Workout
The youngest person to have won the iconic singing competition series “American Idol” is now a doting mother and wife and she sometimes shares moments of her domestic life with her eager fans in social media.
30-year-old singer and actress Jordin Sparks' road to motherhood was documented in a 2018 TV special titled, “Jordin Sparks: A Baby Story,” which followed the final stages of her pregnancy and the complicated delivery of her only son.
Sparks and her husband Dana Isaiah welcomed their only child together to date in May 2018. The named him named after his father and nicknamed him DJ to avoid confusion. While they planned a home birth, Sparks' condition forced her to change plans at the last minute and rush to a birthing center.

Fast-forward to October 2020 and Sparks and Isaiah are enjoying domestic bliss at home with a healthy and adorable 2-year-old son who loves to see his parents having fun with him.
On October 6, Sparks took to her Instagram account to share a clip that gave a glimpse of the day-to-day life of this party-of-three and she succeeded in melting everybody’s hearts, thanks to DJ’s reactions.
Isaiah and Sparks married impulsively and in secret in July 2017 when the two were in the middle of a vacation in Hawaii with no intentions or plans to get married at the time.
The clip pictured a bare-chested Isaiah wearing white boxers over gray leggings as he lifted his wife on his shoulders to use her as weights for his squats. A confused DJ runs around them laughing and occasionally trying to stop them from what they were doing.
“@danaisaiah wanted to squat me so… I obliged. Lol DJ wasn’t sure what to do! Neither I tbh!” Sparks captioned the hilarious video which was very well-received among the singer’s nearly 2 million followers on Instagram.
“I love how he’s so protective of you.. he was not having anyone hurt you,” a fan wrote in the comments section of the post in reference to DJ’s behavior. “Ya’ll are the cutest family ever,” added another person. “Everyone dreams to be with such a partner,” wrote a third user.
Sparks also used the post's caption to remind her audience that her latest single titled “Homebody” is already available “on all platforms.”
WEDDING STORY
Isaiah and Sparks married impulsively and in secret in July 2017 when the two were in the middle of a vacation in Hawaii with no intentions or plans to get married at the time.
As Sparks later told People magazine, they were open about getting married but they agreed to just follow their feelings and flowing along. During one walk down the beach, they felt inspired to exchange vows so they did on the 17th of that month.
Conveniently enough, Sparks' best friend Morgan, who had traveled with the couple to Hawaii, had gotten ordained before the trip and was available to officiate the wedding right away. Looking back, Sparks told the news outlet:
“It was so much fun and we had such a great time. I do big events all the time, so to be able to have this moment, it was really special to me in that way. Everybody’s love story is different.”
And that’s how, in a very romantic moment and in a paradisiac destination, Sparks and Isaiah were declared husband and wife surrounded only by a few close friends.
