"The Hughleys" star Ashley Monique Clark stunned in a pretty navy blue dress in a recent Instagram post and fans loved her look. Little Sydney grew up to be a gorgeous woman!
On September 22, 1998, "The Hughleys" premiered on ABC. Creators Matt Wickline and D.L. Hughley might not have known then, but fans loved the show so much they still have fond memories of it.
The show ended on May 20, 2002 after successfully running for four delightful seasons. The actors went on to star in various shows and movies. Some enjoyed successful careers that are still bustling today, others, not so much.

STILL A DARLING
Ashely Monique Clark, who played Sydney in the show, is one of the stars who has been enjoying a fairly happy life after the show's end. Fans still adore her and they love keeping up with her life on social media.
Recently, she shared a brand new photo of herself on Instagram that left her fans drooling. Clad in a navy blue dress with a deep neckline, Clark looked beautiful and fresh as a daisy.
BEAUTIFUL INSIDE OUT
She straightened out her beautiful curly hair to achieve that chic bob look. The subtle makeup accentuated her facial features and her skin had that dewy glow. All in all, she looked gorgeous.
She simply captioned the post with a blue heart emoji. As always, her fans took to the comments section to shower her with compliments, saying she looks as beautiful as ever.
HER LIFE NOW
Clark's role as Sydney in "The Hughleys" is the most beloved and important role in her career. Besides that, she has also starred in commercials, feature films, and TV shows like "Moesha."
The actress feels lucky to have been a part of a series that revolved around a universally accepted Black family.
Clark started her very own YouTube channel a couple of months ago. There, she shares the wisdom she has accumulated over years of acting and being a part of the industry.
Besides acting, Ashley is an avid lover of fitness and enjoys spending time with her husband. She has also been catching up with her former co-stars and often shares snaps of the reunions with her fans on Instagram.
"THE HUGHLEYS" WAS CANCELLED BY ABC
The actress feels lucky to have been a part of a series that revolved around a universally accepted Black family. Many fans of the show might not know this, but it was initially canceled by ABC after the first season.
UPN took the opportunity to take the show and the stars were hopeful that the network would push boundaries, just like it did with its other shows from time to time, and unlike many historical Black shows, "The Hughleys" had blatant race-related storylines.
