Gwen Stefani Doesn't Mind When People Mistakenly Call Blake Shelton Her Husband

Star entertainer Gwen Stefani shared that she does not mind being called her partner, Blake Shelton's wife, whenever people mistook their relationship status.

Music star Gwen Stefani opened up in a virtual interview with Extra TV, about her relationship with fellow star Blake Shelton and how they have been faring amid the pandemic.

In the chat, one of the hosts noted that Stefani, 51, was in an interview where Dua Lipa had mistaken Shelton for her husband while adding that it felt cute.

Sharing a peal of hearty laughter, the "Hollaback Girl" singer shared that she guessed people thought Shelton was her husband because they got used to them being together.

However, she showed no animosity towards being called the Country singer's wife as she shared that it felt nice. Stefani and Shelton have been together for five years since leaving their older relationships.

Shelton and his girlfriend also recently released the music video for her fourth duet, "Happy Anywhere," where they chronicled their quarantine life.

During the "Rich Girl" singer's chat with Dua Lipa on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she shared that she and the "Austin" crooner quarantined in Oklahoma, with her three children, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.

Recently speaking with People, the "The Dreamer" singer explained that it was refreshing spending more time with his lover at Oklahoma. Shelton noted to the publication:

"The simple pleasure of being together in one place for an extended period of time has been a real gift…"

Shelton and Stefani first met as coaches on "The Voice," and struck up a friendship. They would later become lovers and enjoy blissful times. The "Cool "singer's three kids are from her relationship with Gavin Rossdale.

Early in the month, the "Hillbilly Bone" singer celebrated his lady love most warmly on Instagram. Referring to her as the "special lady in my life," Shelton penned a love note to his love interest.

The 44-year-old attached a snapshot of himself and his lover on the birthday post. The image carried off a romantic aura that showed the lovebirds in a cornfield as he played the guitar.

On her Instagram page, Stefani made it a throwback affair as she shared a monochrome image of herself as a baby as she thanked well-wishers for the prayers and messages.
