Tyler Perry's Partner Gelila Supports Girls Gotta Run Foundation in Her Philanthropic Work

Tyler Perry's long-time partner, Gelila Bekele, gave updates on her philanthropic work towards the Girls Gotta Run Foundation as she showed off a heartwarming snap on social media.

on her Instagram story had Bekele, a star model, looking radiant and posing with some young girls from the Girls Gotta Run Foundation in Ethiopia.

Bekele looked stylish in a puffer jacket, a pair of form-fitting pants, and a baseball hat. While all the girls rallied around her, the philanthropist crutched with a big smile and a peace sign. According to its official page, Girls Gotta Run Foundation (GGRF) is the:

"... first organization for girls combining athletic abilities, a thirst for education, and how to have better communities in Ethiopia."

GGRF was established in 2006 as a non-governmental franchise to lend a helping hand to the education of the underprivileged girl child in Ethiopia. The organization centers on female runners who use their athletic abilities to help their communities.

Founded by Dr. Patricia Ortman, the non-profit has channeled funds into providing shoes, athletic gear, and other necessities for the runners. So far, there has been immense progress concerning the eradication of early marriage and improved education.

The star dad shared that he confirmed this during one of their vacations.

Besides her outstanding works as a philanthropist and a successful model, Bekele, 34, is a mom-of-one and she shares parenthood with American filmmaker, Tyler Perry.

Although they keep their family life a private affair, Perry does not mind sharing sweet details about fatherhood. Once in an interview, the dad-of-one excitedly dished on his little son Aman's growth progress. He shared:

"Just having an opportunity to mold a great human being is a wonderful thing. To help nurture and cultivate his life…"

One heartwarming moment with Perry was during his interview with Essence where he completely loosened up in the wonders of parenthood.

The "Madea" creator did not hold back as he shared his dreams for little Aman, declaring that he would support all of his son's choices when it comes to his career path.

The billionaire actor stated that he would love for Aman to take over filmmaking and his empire, but he will give his utmost support if the youngster prefers an entirely different path.

Perry is determined to lay up good examples for his son because the little one was already watching his every step. The star dad shared that he confirmed this during one of their vacations.
