'The Crown's Emma Corrin Discusses Losing Anonymity and Her Sympathy for Princess Diana
Young actress Emma Corrin has opened up about her fear of fame even as she is bound for stardom after being chosen to play Princess Diana in Season 4 of "The Crown."
The late Princess of Wales was one of the most iconic celebrities of the last century, so Emma Corrin, who will play Diana in Season 4 of the popular Netflix drama, has been the center of media attention these days.
"It's more and more strange as it gets closer to it," the 24-year-old actress recently said in an interview. "I'm very scared of losing my anonymity." So far, Corrin has not had many acting credits to her names.

Corrin added that she thinks Diana, who died in August 1997 in a car crash, was distressed by the way she was photographed from the time she stepped out of her house. The actress continued:
"It's a very strange relinquishing of one's freedom in a very bizarre way and I have a great sympathy [for Diana]."
In a set of newly-released photos from Season 4 of "The Crown," the British actress is seen making a red carpet entrance in a strapless, embroidered lilac evening gown. Corrin looked stunning, and she does bear a striking resemblance to Diana.
The images likewise show Josh O'Connor, who will play Prince Charles, wearing a tuxedo. There are also photographs of Corrin surrounded by paparazzi.
In a hint of what fans can expect to see on "The Crown" when the latest season hits Netflix on November 14, the actress is also photographed meeting Camilla Parker-Bowles.
The late princess usually wore all skirts and jumpers, she explained.

The series' Season 4 will pick up the tumultuous royal story in the late 1970s. It will focus on Her Majesty's strained relationship with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and the relationship between Prince Charles and Diana.
The new season will also see renowned actor Gillian Anderson getting political as Thatcher, who was head of the British government from 1979 to 1990.
Meanwhile, Corrin told Vogue recently that she plays Diana from the time the iconic royal was young. For her first scene in the show, the actress played Diana as a schoolgirl.
Corrin added that Diana dressed in a very childlike way. The late princess usually wore all skirts and jumpers, she explained. That was one of the most interesting aspects of playing Diana over the course of 12 years, Corrin continued.
During the filming of "The Crown," Corrin said that Diana's fashion inspired her throughout the filming. Speaking about Diana's wedding dress, Corrin noted that it was dazzling.
The actress also remarked that the gown was gorgeous and extravagant. For people who watched Diana walk down the aisle in July 1981, the moment truly felt like a fairytale.
