Chris Pratt Is Labeled Worst Hollywood Chris — Why Is the 'Avengers' Star Facing Intense Backlash?
Actor Chris Pratt has been trending on social media for the past couple of days for all the wrong reasons. The whole drama started when someone made a poll that included him and other actors with the name “Chris.”
Things started going downhill for the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor Chris Pratt, 41, over the weekend. On October 17, 2020, television producer Amy Berg jokingly created a Twitter poll asking fans to pick the actor they liked the least.
Berg’s list included Pratt, Chris Pine, Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth. Ultimately, the poll showed that the “Avengers” actor was the least liked star even though there were some differing opinions.

Pratt found himself at the bottom of the list mainly because of his membership to the Zoe Church, which mimics the controversial Hillsong Church. He’s also caused some controversy due to speculation over who he will be voting for at the upcoming elections.
The poll ended up getting him labeled as “the worst Chris” in Hollywood. The innocent comparison by Berg also saw some people noting that they were “canceling” the star because of his views.
“E! News” also shared the poll on its Instagram page and asked its followers to reveal which Hollywood Chris was the best. Pratt’s wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, 30, took to the comments section of the post where she defended her man.
She criticized “E! News” for creating the post and asked if that type of poll was what people needed right now. The children’s book author noted how there were many other things going on in the world at the moment that was more pressing.
Schwarzenegger shared how some people were actually struggling right now, probably referencing the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease. She also candidly called out the poll stating:
“Being mean is so yesterday. There’s enough room to love all these guys.”
Pratt’s wife concluded her comment by noting how love was what people needed right now instead of bullying and meanness. She urged people to give love a try instead of the brutal attack against her husband.
The “Parks and Recreation” star also found support through his fellow celebrities, family, and friends. Fellow “Avengers” star Robert Downey Jr. took to his Instagram account on October 20, 2020, to defend his co-star.
Downey Jr. shared a throwback image that featured him and Pratt on the film’s set and captioned the post with a heated response. The actor sarcastically noted how the “sinless” were casting stones at Pratt, whom he called his brother.
Pratt and Schwarzenegger named their newborn child Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger and she is already nearly two months old.
He went on defending his co-star by labeling him a real Christian who has never shown anything but gratitude and positivity. Downey Jr. encouraged those who criticized the star to delete their social media accounts and work on their own defects.
Pratt also got support from another “Avengers” co-star, Mark Ruffalo, and from Josh Gad; who voices Olaf in “Frozen.” The actor was also defended by James Gunn, the director of “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
In 2015, Pratt was at the top of his game and getting a lot of love from his fans. At the time, before he started the press tour for the film “Jurassic World,” the star apologized on social media for any politically incorrect comments he would make during interviews.
The actor called himself the nicest guy in the world and went on to charm the socks off of his fans. He appeared on the “Late Late Show with James Corden” where he made viewers laugh while running away from dinosaurs in stilettos.
Pratt also put up an Instagram post of his ride to the premiere of his movie and so much more. Besides the horrible backlash he’s gotten this month, a couple of months ago the actor reached a huge milestone.
Pratt, who once lived in his car in Hawaii, and Schwarzenegger announced the birth of their baby girl on August 10, 2020. The couple named their newborn child Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger and she is already nearly two months old!
Lyla is Schwarzenegger’s first child, while Pratt is also a father to a son Jack, 8. The actor had his first child with his ex-wife Anna Faris whom he separated from in 2017 before finalizing their divorce the following year.
