Adele Rocks Denim Outfit with a Black Face Mask as She Reads Her Script Ahead of SNL Debut

Before she had her “Saturday Night Live” debut, NBC shared an image of the musician Adele at their studios. The star appeared wearing a matching outfit and a face mask.

Adele, 32, is set to host NBC’s “Saturday Night Live (SNL)” on October 24, 2020. Ahead of her appearance on the series, the show shared an image of the star preparing for her role.

On Wednesday, SNL uploaded a photo of the singer while she sat at their studios. Excited about her debut, the late-night NBC sketch show captioned her picture writing:

“Adele is here!”

In the image, the star, who has lost a lot of weight and is looking slimmer and slimmer, was photographed while wearing a denim outfit. Her look featured a blue denim jacket with matching jeans.

Showing how she was keeping safe amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease, Adele wore a black face mask. She appeared to be reading a couple of pages from her script for the upcoming episode.

On Sunday, the star shared with her Instagram followers for the first that she would be hosting SNL. In the caption of her post, she confessed to her fans that she was excited but terrified about taking on the new role, adding:

"I’ve always wanted to do it as a stand-alone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it…”

Adele explained how the timing had never been right for her to take on the SNL hosting role. Noting that it was 2020, the singer stated how this was a good year to jump into something new and challenging.

The star also noted how the first time she appeared on the series was almost 12 years ago. The British singer praised her appearance as one of the things that helped break her career into America.

Adele first appeared on SNL in 2008 where she performed her hit songs “Cold Shoulder” and “Chasing Pavements.” The “Hello” vocalist stated how her upcoming appearance would be like she was coming full circle in her career.

One of Adele’s close friends, British comedian Alan Carr, 44, felt people needed to know that she was much more than her weight.

Teasing what fans could look forward to on the episode, besides herself, of course, the star excitedly revealed that H.E.R would be the musical guest. Some of her fans took to Twitter to speculate about her appearance on SNL.

The musician’s fans thought her upcoming role meant she was preparing to release new music because the last time she did was in 2015. The last album the singer released was her third one titled, “25.”

Adele’s last major public appearance was in 2016 when she was hosting her record's tour. The talk of the town has been the star’s body weight since she showed off her weight loss in May 2020.

One of her close friends, British comedian Alan Carr, 44, felt people needed to know that she was much more than her weight. While on the UK's “Lorraine” show on Tuesday, Carr shared how he didn’t understand why her weight loss or gain was such a focal point.

The comedian explained how he thought his friend had always been beautiful, noting her gorgeous lips and eyes. He felt people missed the person she was when they chose to focus on what size underwear she wore.

Carr added how Adele’s voice was one of the elements people had to notice because of how inspirational it was. In May 2020, the star shocked her fans with her first Instagram post for the year.
