Despite her enviable profile in the entertainment industry, Beauvais recently claimed that she is not as valued as her white counterparts. Even though she has put up with the inequality for much of her career, she is currently taking a stand against it.

Apart from her successful acting career, Beauvais is also a proud mother. Earlier in the year, she celebrated becoming a first-time grandmother after her eldest son, Oliver Saunders welcomed his baby boy.
