"The Voice" stars Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will be hearing wedding bells soon! The stars announced their engagement on Tuesday, October 27, by posting the same lovely picture to their respective Instagram accounts.
Fans have been rooting for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton since they started dating back in 2015 after they met on the set of the singing competition "The Voice." Now, the star couple finally gave their followers what they've been asking for: an engagement!
Stefani and Shelton confirmed the news on Instagram by sharing a picture that shows them kissing in the interior of what looks like a church, as Stefani proudly showed off her engagement ring.

In the pic, the No Doubt frontwoman rocked a white t-shirt with red sleeves, jeans, and a green cap, while Shelton went for a brown button-up t-shirt and a matching cap, as he embraced his fiancée by the waist.
"Yes please,! Stefani captioned her post tagging Shelton, while the "God's Country" star added in his caption:
"Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020... And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!"
The news comes just a few weeks after Stefani confessed in an interview with Extra that she is not bothered when fans or friends refer to Shelton as her husband. She admitted that they have been together for so long, that people just got used to it and she finds it "cute."
Stefani shares three kids with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale: Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 6. Shelton, who has been married two times before, loves to spend time with the kids and once admitted in an interview that it was "easy to fall in love" with the boys.
"The best part for me, selfishly, is discovering a part of myself that I guess I never really knew was in there," he told People. "It’s definitely an instinct that kind of kicks in."
Multiple sources confirmed to People that Stefani and Shelton got engaged last weekend in Oklahoma. Fans and friends have been flooding the stars' social media accounts with well-wishes. Congratulations to the lovebirds!
