Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Shared a Hug at the CMT Music Awards as They Declared Their Love
Iconic singer Gwen Stefani and her partner, Blake Shelton, were all loved up as they received a CMT Music Award for their collaborative effort in the song, "Nobody But You."
There is nothing that speaks more about how strong a team is than its ability to win. Considering the recent form of singer Gwen Stefani and her beau, Blake Shelton, they are indeed a winning team.
The 2020 CMT Music Award aired live from Nashville on Wednesday, October 22, and the couple took home the award for best collaborative video for their duet, "Nobody But You."

Stefani and Shelton received the award from their home, and in a video shared on the official Twitter page of the CMT Music Awards, the couple looked delighted as they hugged while receiving the award.
In the video, Stefani, 51, adorned a blue and beige camo-style corset, and Shelton wore a blue buttoned-up shirt. While accepting the award, Shelton said:
"I told Gwen when I saw who the other nominees were in our category, I was like, 'That would've been cool, but I don't know what our chance of beating Justin Bieber are.'"
The 44-year-old country singer expressed his surprise at winning the award despite stiff competition and took the opportunity to thank the fans for voting for them.
While paying tribute to the fans, Shelton also sensationally called out other award shows, claiming they had lost their credibility over the years. He also praised the fan-voting CMT Music Awards.
The "The Voice" coaches have been together for nearly five years after they both ended their previous relationships.
The couple ended the video in the sweetest way possible when they professed their love for each other and gave a toast with a glass of martini. Stefani and Shelton's award-winning duet debuted in January.
A month later, the couple dropped the video of the song, much to the delight of their fans. In December 2019, while speaking about how they came about the song, Shelton said:
"It just seemed to fit perfectly with our story, and, musically, I think it walks the line of what I can do and what she can do[...]"
Apart from "Nobody But You," the lovebirds have also worked on "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," "You Make It Feel Like Christmas" and their latest studio effort is "Happy Anywhere."
This is Stefani's first-ever CMT Music Award win, and it makes the ninth time that Shelton would be taking home the coveted award. More importantly, it is the first-ever collaborative win for the couple.
The voice coaches have been together for nearly five years after they both ended their previous relationships. Stefani ended her marriage to Gavin Rossdale while Shelton split from Miranda Lambert.
Despite being together for only five years, many make the mistake of referring to Shelton as Stefani's husband, and she seems to enjoy the blop.
