Stefani reclaimed her seat on "The Voice" for its current and 19th season. It's the 51-year-old's 5th season working as a coach on the show, and it also happens to be where she met Shelton back in 2015.

The couple went through rough relationship breakups at the same time, and they found understanding and support in each other. By the end of 2015, their relationship had turned romantic as they nursed each other's hearts back to health.

THE TRADITIONAL ROUTE

Leading up to asking the question, Blake Shelton took a traditional approached and decided to ask Stefani's father's permission before he popped the long-awaited question at their Oklahoma home.

According to reports, Shelton had the ring custom-designed, and their engagement also came at a time when they just moved into the home they purchased last week while experiencing the new season of "The Voice" together as well.
