Closer Weekly: Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Are Thrilled about Christmas Plans with Baby Archie
Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan are now living in the US and they will probably be having their second Christmas together there. According to a source, the couple is excited about the upcoming holidays.
This year, Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan, and their son, Archie, 17-months-old, will be having Christmas at their new home in the US. According to a “Closer Weekly” source, the couple is excited about the upcoming festivities.
The publication’s insider revealed how the upcoming holiday was actually one of Meghan’s favorite ones. She is allegedly in anticipation of getting into the festive season to celebrate the holiday.

The source claimed Harry, 36, and his wife was planning on getting the biggest Christmas tree for their new California home. The family will then decorate the tree together, with the insider adding:
“They’re excited about getting Archie involved this year and will let him pick out a couple of ornaments to put on the tree.”
Even though Archie is still a toddler, the source noted how he was old enough to grasp some of the concepts they would be teaching him about the holiday. The boy’s mother has already purchased a children’s Christmas book for the little boy.
The Royal Family will also honor another Christmas Eve tradition, with a twist, with Meghan, 39, leaving a glass of wine for Santa. Harry and his family will also be exchanging gifts on the eve of Christmas.
However, the insider alleged that the gifts will only be opened on Christmas Day in the morning. Their living room’s fireplace will also get some hanging stocking decorations to spruce it up.
The monarch might still get to spend some time with Harry and Archie.
The source also claimed that Meghan will be one making a Christmas feast for their family in their new Santa Barbara kitchen. The festivities might be attended by her mother, Doria Ragland, and Harry’s friends Katharine and David McPhee, according to other publications.
According to the publication’s informant, the Queen had asked him to come back to the UK for the holidays. However, due to the traveling restrictions amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, it doesn’t seem like she’ll get her wish.
The monarch might still get to spend some time with Harry and Archie. The plan is for the trio to fly back to the UK a day or so after Christmas Day so they can be in the country for the New Year celebrations.
However, if they manage to go to Harry’s home country, they might have to self-isolate for around 10 days to make sure they don’t have the virus. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were married in May 2018, might also be able to get away with Christmas in the US due to another reason.
It’s said that the Queen won’t be able to host her traditional festivities at her Sandringham Estate in Norfolk due to COVID-19. Her staff is also not thrilled about working around her schedule and missing the holidays with their own families.
