Floyd Mayweather Confirms Daughter Yaya Is Pregnant with NBA Youngboy's Baby — See His Response

Legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather's daughter Iyanna "Yaya" is pregnant with her first child with NBA YoungBoy. Mayweather recently confirmed the news during an interview.

Becoming a grandparent is the kind of joy unlike anything, and Floyd Mayweather is about to experience it soon. The boxing legend recently revealed that his daughter Iyanna "Yaya" is pregnant with her first child.

In an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, Mayweather revealed the happy news and talked about how he feels. He seemed to have taken the news quite well, and it is great because he and Yaya's baby daddy, rapper NBA YoungBoy, are not exactly chummy.

MAYWEATHER IS HAPPY

The outlet shared a clip of the interview on its official Instagram page. In the video, Mayweather talked about how his daughter's feelings were all that mattered. He further shared:

"I just want the best for my daughter. If that makes her happy, then we're happy. Me and her mother is happy."

IT'S YAYA'S PERSONAL BUSINESS

The boxer is not the one to get into his 20-year-old daughter's personal business. He was pretty mature about his reaction to the pregnancy news and said that it is between Yaya and her partner now.

Mayweather said that he looks at YoungBoy as a child and he could not be upset with someone like that.

THE APRIL CONTROVERSY

As many of the fans know, Yaya made headlines back in April after being arrested for physically harming YoungBoy's baby mama. She allegedly stabbed the woman with a deadly weapon.

Yaya, who was merely 19 when the incident took place, was taken into custody in Harris County, Texas. The 25-year-old victim named Lapattra Lashai Jacobs survived with injuries that were not life-threatening and underwent surgery.

Yaya was released from prison on a $30,000 bond. YoungBoy was also present at the scene and was briefly handcuffed as a precautionary measure. According to Yaya, she had never met Jacobs before that day.

After the 20-year-old was bailed out, YoungBoy took to Instagram to go on an angry rant about Mayweather. During the interview with Hollywood Unlocked, the boxer said that such distasteful comments are often a result of a person's upbringing.

HOW MAYWEATHER SEES IT

Mayweather shared that since it starts at home, he has always taught his daughter to be respectful when she goes to anybody's home. He believes that the things that go on in the home should not be talked about outside.

Mayweather said that he looks at YoungBoy as a child, and he could not be upset with someone like that. He understands that he could have been having a rough day when he went on to say all those nasty things about him and hopes for nothing but the best for him and Yaya.
